As my summer vacation approached, I was determined to go somewhere different and do something I had always wanted to do...go back to Italy.

I was familiar with Rick Steves travel books and remeber using the website to buy my rail tickets the last time I had traveled to Europe. I remembered loving Rick Steves travel books throughout the trip and thought, as a trusted website, there would be information on guided tours. I was estatic to learn that there were Rick Steves guided tours. I immediately searched available tours and found one that met my available timeframe and saw that it went to Pompeii (a place I had always wanted to visit).

This was such an incredible trip. I was not familiar with Sicily and was amazed at the culture, food, wine, and scenery I experienced while on the island. This tour left a lasting impression and I am now looking forward to my next Rick Steves tour!
