Day trips to Segesta and Selinunte on our way to Agrigento

Segesta

Segesta is known for two Greek monuments: an unfinished Greek temple from the 5th century B.C. and a theater dating from the 3rd century B.C.

Selinunte

After spending the morning in Segesta looking at the Greek ruins, we drove to Selinunte for lunch and some time on the beach to soak up a little sun.

Agrigento

We arrived to Agrigento in the afternoon. A local tour guide took us around the "Valle dei Templi (Valley of the Temples). Though this was the only excursion we did in Agrigento (unless you consider the huge and wonderful group dinner we had), seeing and photographing these ancient structures was truly amazing and one of the highlights for me on this tour.
